When you participate in a U-ARE-SUS game, we collect:

• Phone Number: Your phone number is collected when you call to host a game or text to join a game.
• Game Data: Temporary game state information including your assigned player name, role, and in-game actions.

How We Use Your Information

Your phone number and game data are used exclusively for:

• Facilitating game play
• Sending SMS messages related to the game
• Managing voice call interactions during the game

Data Storage and Retention

• During Game: Your phone number and game data are stored in memory only for the duration of the active game session.
• After Game: All personal information, including your phone number, is automatically deleted when the game ends or within 2 hours of game creation, whichever comes first.
• No Long-Term Storage: We do not store phone numbers or any personal information beyond what is strictly necessary for game operation.

Data Sharing

We never:

• Share your phone number with other players (you are identified by an anonymous animal name)
• Sell your information to third parties
• Use your information for marketing purposes
• Process your data in ways not required for game functionality

Third-Party Services

We use Twilio for SMS and voice call services. Twilio’s privacy policy applies to their processing of call and message data. We do not share any additional information with Twilio beyond what is necessary for message delivery.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Stop participating in a game at any time
• Request deletion of your data (though it is automatically deleted after each game)
• Contact us with privacy concerns

Children’s Privacy

U-ARE-SUS is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
